(MAHWAH, NJ) – January 7, 2020 – Today, inaugural music and adventure festival experience 4xFAR Presented by Land Rover, has announced a special guest performance from urban beatsmith Kaytranada. He will support Grammy-winning Anderson .Paak and The Free Nationals during their headlining performance at the brand new Coachella Valley event on January 18-19.
For the past decade Haitian-born, Montreal-based dance music producer Kaytranada has been known for his seamless blending of hip-hop inspired bass lines and effortless dance sensibilities. He released his first award-winning debut album “99.9%” in 2016, followed by this year’s “Bubba” LP in December 2019. The new and much buzzed about studio-effort features collaborations with industry elite such as Kali Uchis, Pharrell Williams, Tinashe, GoldLink and more. He’ll be joining Anderson .Paak, whose vocals are featured on Kaytranada’s 99.9% track, “Glowed Up,” as he headlines 4xFar on the first day of the event, alongside The Free Nationals.
4xFAR will also be the first opportunity for consumers to experience the highly anticipated new 2020 Land Rover Defender on a purpose-built off-road course, alongside the full range of current Land Rover vehicles. In a nod to the past, present and future of the Land Rover brand, the weekend event will also include special displays of heritage vehicles from the brand’s storied 71-year history and parking corrals to feature Land Rover Club members making the trek to the Coachella Valley.
From January 18-19, 2020, attendees are invited to discover a wealth of musical talent and explore endless onsite adventures at the remote desert venue of the Empire Grand Oasis. Attendees may find themselves learning to fly-fish, exploring wilderness survival and outdoor photography workshops, or having a go at mountain biking, slacklining, yoga, intimate panel discussions and many more curated adventures.
4xFAR’s top-tier musical roster also includes Grammy-winning Mark Ronson & Q-Tip and two-time Grammy-nominated live electronic duo Sofi Tukker. The leading lineup continues with indie rock sweethearts Young The Giant, The War on Drugs veteran Kurt Vile and the Violators, and house music sensation Maya Janes Coles.
