(MAHWAH, N.J.) ‑ August 27, 2013 ‑Jaguar Land Rover today announced changes to its global sales and marketing leadership structure to help maximize the company's future growth opportunities in all global regions.
Phil Popham, currently Group Sales Operations Director, will become Group Marketing Director Jaguar Land Rover. In this role he will be responsible for all global marketing activity on both the Jaguar and Land Rover brands.
Andy Goss, currently President, Jaguar Land Rover North America, will become Group Sales Operations Director with responsibility for global sales and customer service and will join the Executive Committee. An announcement about the successor to the role of President, Jaguar Land Rover North America, will be made in due course.
The changes, effective 1 October 2013, will simplify Jaguar Land Rover's leadership structure in global sales and marketing, enhance the company's relentless focus on customer care, and further the international focus of the business. Both Popham and Goss have held leadership positions for the company in North America and have strong experience in customer service.
Jaguar Land Rover makes these leadership structure changes amidst the company's global sales surge with launches of new models from Land Rover and Jaguar. Through the first six months of 2013, Jaguar Land Rover, globally, has sold 210,190 vehicles, an increase of 14% versus the same period last year. June year‑to‑date sales were up for Jaguar Land Rover in every major region: Asia Pacific up 26%, Overseas up 18%, UK and China Region both up 16%, North America up 13%, and Europe up 6%.
Commenting on his global appointment to Group Sales Operations Director from President of Jaguar Land Rover North America, Andy Goss said, "With this global role I now have a mandate to personally oversee the acceleration of our business in our largest and most influential markets, especially the United States. Transitioning from a Regional Director role to an Executive Committee position provides an opportunity to greatly enhance the "voice of market" within the Center, which is so vital in the continued globalization and success of our Company."

Adrian Hallmark, currently Global Brand Director Jaguar is appointed to the new role of Group Strategy Director with responsibility for developing Jaguar Land Rover's business strategy development, strategic process and supporting strategic projects.
John Edwards,currently Global Brand Director Land Rover is to move to a new role in the senior management team.
