Whitley, UK, 13 November 2018 – To celebrate the 70th birthday of His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, Jaguar Land Rover has pledged to complete an ambitious challenge of 70 volunteering initiatives over the next 12 months in support of charitable organisations that benefit from His Royal Highness’ Patronage.

Supporting young people, education, training, conservation, rural communities, wildlife and conservation, the 70 initiatives relate to 12 organisations including The Prince’s Countryside Fund, The Wildlife Trust, Macmillan Cancer Support, Samaritans and The Prince’s Trust.

From the Industrial Cadets, which has helped over 2,000 young people access STEM placements with companies like Jaguar Land Rover, to British Red Cross research pilots trailing 360 video and Virtual Reality in First Aid Training to improve people’s confidence to help in a crisis; The Prince’s Patronages continue to change lives for the better.

Jaguar Land Rover would like to celebrate The Prince of Wales’s 70th birthday and his outstanding personal commitment over the last five decades to an impressively wide range of charitable causes.

To mark His Royal Highness’s 70th birthday our employees have chosen to support 70 projects relating to his patronages. Making a difference sits at the heart of our organisation and through volunteering we hope to support some of the charities that The Prince of Wales holds most dear.
