Technology with Heart is the theme of Jaguar Land Rover’s inaugural Tech Fest, an event that explores the positive role that technology is playing in reshaping the automotive industry and beyond

The free‑to‑enter festival takes place at the internationally recognised Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. It is open to the general public from Friday, 8 September until Sunday, 10 September.

The event will be packed full of innovative exhibits and interactive displays that demonstrate how technology is being used to make a positive difference. Attendees can fast forward into the future and take a glimpse into a world where cars drive themselves and some vehicles could be shared.

There will be some surprises as Jaguar shares its vision for future mobility, demonstrated via a virtual reality experience and interactive displays. Younger visitors can become race drivers for the day in mini Formula E race cars while teens will enjoy the Formula E simulator. Many more exhibits and vehicles will be on show and Jaguar Land Rover engineers and designers will be on hand to answer questions and join debates.

There is a media day, by invitation only, on Thursday 7 September. This will include panel discussions on topics including the future of diesel, electrification, women in industry and robotics. Speakers will be announced in early September and will include a range of global industry and consumer experts. Content from the day will be shared across Jaguar Land Rover’s global social media channels, including a keynote opening address by Jaguar Land Rover CEO Dr Ralf Speth.
