Jaguar Land Rover Employees Support The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal

11 November 2014

Employees at Jaguar Land Rover showed their best sides this week in support of the British legion’s poppy selfie campaign.

Employees at Jaguar Land Rover showed their best sides this week in support of the British legion's poppy selfie campaign. More than two thousand employees from all six Jaguar Land Rover UK sites were photographed, proudly displaying poppies and the Royal British Legion's new 'Live On' slogan ‑ a reference to its commitment to the memory of the fallen and the future of the living.

Every one of the individual photographs taken was collated to create a collage and shared online with the hashtag #poppyselfie.

"Jaguar Land Rover employees have been proud to support this important cause as one team," says Mike Wright, Executive Director at Jaguar Land Rover. "The Royal British Legion poppy appeal is close to the hearts of our employees, particularly the many ex‑servicemen and women amongst our workforce."

As well as the supporting poppy selfie campaign, staff at all Jaguar Land Rover sites will be observing the two minute silence at 11am on the 11th November.
