London, 7 November 2012‑ Jaguar and Land Rover have been shortlisted by Walpole, the British luxury industry organisation, in its prestigious Awards for Excellence 2012.
Jaguar is shortlisted in the British Luxury Overseas category, with Gerry McGovern nominated for Land Rover and shortlisted in the British Luxury Design Talent category.
The British Luxury Overseas Award is presented to the company that has achieved outstanding success in raising its profile and business overseas through export, expanding retail presence, increasing sales and special events in 2012.
The British Luxury Design Talent Award is presented to the company or individual that has maintained the highest standard of British Design Talent through innovation, design and quality product in 2012.

A highlight in the British luxury calendar, the Walpole Awards for Excellence take place on 19 November inLondon, with a panel of 60 illustrious judges deciding on winners across 10 categories. Previous winners include Alexander McQueen, Victoria Beckham, the Royal Opera House and many others from the world of British luxury.
