Jaguar Land Rover Appoints New Head Of Global PR Communications

Jaguar Land Rover has appointed Fiona Pargeter to the position of Head of Global PR Communications, with responsibility for the company’s global PR strategy incorporating all product and corporate matters.

Whitley, UK:Jaguar Land Rover has appointed Fiona Pargeter to the position of Head of Global PR Communications, with responsibility for the company's global PR strategy incorporating all product and corporate matters.  She will join the Executive Committee of the company reporting to Jaguar Land Rover CEO, Dr Ralf Speth. The move is effective immediately.

 Commenting on the appointment, Dr Speth said:  "I am pleased to have Fiona on board particularly at this time when Jaguar Land Rover is about to embark on a period of growth through the launch of new products and new markets.  She brings with her not just the respect of the industry but more than 20 years of automotive PR expertise and knowledge."

 Fiona, who joined Jaguar Land Rover in 2009 as Global PR Director for Land Rover, was responsible for creating the PR strategy for the Range Rover Evoque, winning the European Automotive Media Award, and most recently the PR launch of the all new Range Rover.

 Prior to this Fiona worked for Ford and was responsible for product PR in the UK.   Her career has also included internal communications and media relations at Volvo, having started in automotive PR at Nissan. She received the PR and Communications 'Rising Star' award by Courtland/Automotive Management in 2006.
