1970 Range Rover Classic Two-Door
The original Range Rover gave rise to a new wave of motoring. It was truly a ‘four-in-one’ vehicle; as at home in the town as in the countryside, the mountains or on the motorway – and anywhere in between. Combining the luxury, comfort, acceleration and handling of the world-famous Rover saloon range with all the capabilities of a Land Rover, this completely new model became the forerunner of the valuable and fast-growing four-wheel-drive leisure market.

1981 Range Rover Classic Two-Door In Vogue
The Range Rover’s luxurious design and practicality made it the perfect choice for Vogue magazine’s visit to Biarritz to photograph Lancôme and Jaeger’s 1981 spring collections. It featured Vogue Blue metallic paint with contrasting broad coach lines, walnut door caps and a specially designed picnic hamper. Additions of in-dashboard air conditioning, storage cubbies and a fully carpeted luggage space ensured the luxury SUV was as comfortable and practical as it was elegant.

1994 Range Rover Second-Generation (P38A)
An evolutionary approach to the design and engineering of the second-generation meant the Range Rover retained many of the key design features of the original, while dialling up luxury and performance, both on- and off-road. The Range Rover P38A was more aerodynamically efficient, while also offering increased head and leg room, and 50 per cent more luggage space. It positioned Range Rover as the world’s leading luxury off-road vehicle.

2001 Range Rover Third-Generation (L322)
Much larger than its predecessor, the exterior of the third-generation Range Rover echoed the classic styling of the original, while the interior took inspiration from luxury yachts. More luxurious and capable than ever before, it redefined the benchmark. A new and extremely stiff monocoque architecture and independent suspension ensured impeccable on-road manners, while cross-coupled air springs provided the ground clearance and articulation for true Range Rover off-road ability.

2012 Range Rover Fourth-Generation
The ultimate expression of refinement and capability, the fourth-generation Range Rover is a bold evolution of the original that delivered assurance and composure on any terrain. The world’s first SUV with a lightweight all-aluminium body, the latest design pays homage to Range Rover’s heritage. Its presence has been refined to be more sleek, taut and streamlined than ever. Inside, an elegant mix of the finest leathers and veneers offer a sense of serenity while Terrain Response 2 optimises refinement for any terrain.
