(MISSISSAUGA, ON) – May 1, 2018 – Jaguar Land Rover Canada today reported April 2018 sales results. Jaguar Land Rover sold 1,107 units, the best April total ever, surpassing the previous record set in 2017 by 23 percent.
“Our best April ever coming on the heels of our best month ever was a nice win for both retailers and employees and reflects their hard work and focus,” said Santino Pirillo, Vice-President, Sales, Jaguar Land Rover Canada, ULC, “Land Rover had a strong month led by the Range Rover Sport which was up an impressive 51 per cent year-over-year. The Jaguar F-PACE and E-PACE led the way for the Jaguar brand and with the warm weather coming, the F-TYPE is sure to take off. Jaguar is well positioned in the Canadian market and very excited to add its first ever battery electric vehicle, the I-PACE, to its lineup this summer.”

Land Rover
This was the best April ever for Land Rover. Retail sales totalled 780 units. This total was an improvement of 191 units, a 32 per cent YOY increase. Range Rover Sport led the way with 280 units sold, a 51 per cent increase.
In 2018 the Land Rover line-up features six models: The Discovery full size SUV, the Discovery Sport luxury compact SUV, the Range Rover Evoque luxury compact SUV, the Range Rover luxury SUV and Range Rover Sport luxury SUV and the all-new Range Rover Velar luxury SUV.
Jaguar For the month, Jaguar reported 327 units sold and its best April ever and a four per cent YOY increase. The Jaguar F-PACE had a solid month with 180 units sold, while the all-new Jaguar E-PACE SUV sold 60 units. The 2018 model year Jaguar line-up includes six models: The Jaguar F-PACE compact luxury SUV, the Jaguar XE compact luxury sedan, the Jaguar XJ luxury sedan, the Jaguar XF sports sedan, the high performance Jaguar F-TYPE which is available as both a coupe and a convertible and the all-new Jaguar E-PACE compact SUV.
