Jaguar Land Rover SPECTRE Vehicles to Make North American Debut at the 2015 Jaguar Land Rover British Academy Britannia Awards

Jaguar Land Rover has announced the North American debut of its line‑up of vehicles to be featured in SPECTRE, the 24th James Bond adventure, from Albert R. Broccoli's EON Productions, Metro‑Goldwyn‑Mayer Studios and Sony Pictures Entertainment.

(MAHWAH, N.J.) ‑ October 29, 2015 ‑ Jaguar Land Rover has announced the North American debut of its line‑up of vehicles to be featured in SPECTRE, the 24th James Bond adventure, from Albert R. Broccoli's EON Productions, Metro‑Goldwyn‑Mayer Studios and Sony Pictures Entertainment.

The Jaguar C‑X75, Range Rover Sport SVR and Land Rover Defender, will be showcased at the 2015 Jaguar Land Rover British Academy Britannia Awards Presented by American Airlines on Friday, October 30, 2015 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, celebrating the successful involvement of Jaguar Land Rover with the Bond franchise.

The Jaguar Land Rover British Academy Britannia Awards celebrate the achievements of those who have made an outstanding contribution to excellence in the international entertainment industry. Honors are given for excellence in film, directing and comedy, as well as for worldwide contribution to entertainment and for use of the moving image for humanitarian causes. Among this year's honorees is SPECTRE director Sam Mendes, who will be awarded the John Schlesinger Britannia Award for Excellence in Directing presented by the GREAT Britain Campaign.

Following the awards, all three stunt vehicles will be on public display at the Orange County Cars & Coffee automotive gathering in Costa Mesa, CA on October 31, 2015 from 6:30 AM ‑ 9:00 AM PST. For more information and directions to the Cars and Coffee gathering, visit www.occarsandcoffee.com.

Additionally in November, the Jaguar C‑X75 will be on display at the Los Angeles launch of "The Art of Performance Tour: Lights. Camera. Drive." This seven‑city cross‑country tour introduces the Jaguar XE compact luxury sedan to the growing consumers in the market, and invites consumers to see the full 2016/2017 Jaguar line‑up, including the Jaguar F‑PACE, the luxury automaker's first performance SUV.

Jaguar and Land Rover's vehicles appear in the new Bond film, debuting in US theatres November 6th. The Jaguar C‑X75 will be featured in a spectacular car chase sequence through Rome alongside the Aston Martin DB10. The C‑X75 vehicles have been built in collaboration with Williams Advanced Engineering facility in Oxfordshire, England.

The film also includes scenes featuring the heavily modified Land Rover Defender & Range Rover Sport SVR, which were filmed in Austria. The highly capable Defender vehicles were constructed by the Special Operations division with huge 37‑inch diameter off‑road tires to tackle the extreme terrain.

Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles have been involved in a succession of Bond films. Most recently, in 2012, the rugged Defender 110 Double Cab Pick Up was driven by field agent Eve Moneypenny in the opening sequence to SKYFALL.

The U.S. television premiere of the 2015 Jaguar Land Rover British Academy Britannia Awards will air on Pop on Friday, November 6 at 9PM ET/PT. The show will also air in the UK and other broadcasters in Europe, Latin America, Canada, South Africa and Asia,allowing BAFTA to reach countries across the world, showing the true global influence of the British entertainment community.

As Bond ventures towards the heart of SPECTRE, he learns of a chilling connection between himself and the enemy he seeks, played by Christoph Waltz.

Sam Mendes returns to direct SPECTRE, with Daniel Craig reprising his role as 007 for the fourth time. SPECTRE is produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli.  The screenplay is by John Logan and Neal Purvis & Robert Wade and Jez Butterworth, with a story by John Logan and Neal Purvis & Robert Wade.
