- Jaguar XJ sedan shows 19 percent increase year over year
- Land Rover reports second best October ever
- Range Rover is sales leader with 41 percent increase over last year
(MISSISSAUGA, ON) ‑ November 3, 2014 ‑ Jaguar Land Rover Canada today reported October sales for both brands of 517 units, an 11 percent decrease from October 2013 and a calendar year increase of 26 percent for the second best sales October in history.
Jaguar sales were 86 units for a nine percent decrease year‑over year and an 18 percent increase calendar year‑to‑date. Land Rover sales were 431 units, up 28 percent calendar‑year‑to‑date but down 11 per cent for the month compared to October 2013 due to lower inventory levels.

"Our investment in new products continues with the debut of products such as the Land Rover Discovery Sport giving us a very strong, desirable range of products appealing to more customers than ever before ‑ and many more new and exciting models to look forward to."
BRAND HIGHLIGHTS:
Jaguar
Total Jaguar sales in October reached 86 units, with top sales performers being the Jaguar XJ with a 19 percent increase compared with the same period last year. Jaguar F‑TYPE sales increased 29 percent, coupe and convertible, compared with October, 2013.
The 2015 Jaguar line‑up features four models: The Jaguar XJ luxury sedan, powered by a 340‑hp supercharged V6 all‑wheel‑drive, a 470‑hp supercharged V8 or a 550‑hp supercharged V8 in the XJR model. The Jaguar XF sports sedan powered by a 240‑hp turbocharged four cylinder, a 340‑hp supercharged V6 in all‑wheel‑drive, a 510‑hp Supercharged V8 in the XFR, and a 550‑hp Supercharged V8 in the XFR‑S. The XK coupe and convertible grand touring cars are powered by either a 385‑hp V8, a 510‑hp supercharged V8 in the XKR and the 550HP XKR‑S coupe and convertible.
The 2015 model year Jaguar F‑TYPE Coupe is headlined by the F‑TYPE R Coupe, with a 550hp 5‑litre supercharged V8 engine, enabling acceleration from 0‑100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, and a top speed of 300 km/h. The convertible version comes in three variants, 340‑hp F‑TYPE, 380‑hp F‑TYPE S and 495‑hp F‑TYPE V8 S.
Land Rover
In October, Land Rover brand sales reached 431 units making it the second best October ever. Notable was Land Rover LR2 sales of 54, an eight percent increase year‑over‑year and the Range Rover with 58 units sold for a 41 percent increase year‑over‑year.
Land Rover's 2015 model year line‑up features six models: The 240‑hp 2.0 litre powered LR2 and Range Rover Evoque and the recently revealed Discovery Sport (on sale Spring 2015); the updated LR4 powered by a supercharged 340‑hp V6; the Range Rover Sport and Range Rover, both available with the 340‑hp V6 and 510‑hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8 powertrains.
