(MISSISSAUGA, ON) ‑ December 3, 2013 ‑ Jaguar Land Rover Canada today reported the best ever Jaguar Land Rover sales for November. With combined sales of 610 units, Jaguar Land Rover Canada achieved a 38 percent increase compared with the same period in 2012.
Jaguar sales totaled 102 units, powered by the more than doubling of Jaguar XF sales compared with November 2012. Jaguar XJ sales increased 57% year‑over‑year.
Land Rover sales were 508 units for a year‑over‑year increase of 27 percent, fuelled by strong sales of the Range Rover, Range Rover Evoque and the All New Range Rover Sport.
"Strong Jaguar November sales were the result of our first full winter season with Instinctive All Wheel Drive XF and XJ models. And Land Rover customers love the winter season as evidenced by record November sales," said Lindsay Duffield, President, of Jaguar Land Rover Canada. "And with the unveiling of the new Jaguar F‑TYPE Coupe, Long Wheelbase Range Rover and the most exclusive Range Rover ever ‑ Autobiography Black, winter should continue to generate more positive results through the coming months."

For the month of November, the Jaguar XF led sales growth with a year‑over‑year record of 221 percent while the sales of the Jaguar XJ increased 57 percent compared with the same period in 2012. Jaguar XJ and XF sedan sales continue to increase on the appeal of new powertrains and Jaguar's "instinctive" all‑wheel drive.

The Jaguar XK coupe and convertible sports cars, powered by either the naturally‑aspirated 385‑hp V8, or for the XKR, the 510‑hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8 powertrain. Jaguar also offers its highest performance models ever, the 2014 Jaguar XKR‑S coupe and convertible with a 550‑hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8 powertrain. New for MY14 is the limited edition street legal and track ready XKR‑S‑GTs ‑ only five are destined for Canada.
The Jaguar F‑TYPE, an all‑new two‑seat Jaguar soft‑top convertible sports car is a new front‑engine, lightweight aluminum architecture with rear‑wheel drive, engineered to be a true high‑performance sports car. Three models are available ‑ F‑TYPE, F‑TYPE S and the F‑TYPE V8 S, powered respectively by the new Jaguar supercharged 3‑litre V6 engine in 340hp and 380hp outputs and a 495hp 5‑litre supercharged V8.
Land Rover
The month of November 2013, was the second best November ever for the brand with a year‑over‑year increase of 27 percent. Range Rover sales increased 156 percent compared with the same period in 2012 and Range Rover Evoque increased 31 percent year‑over‑year.
Land Rover's 2014 model line‑up features:
The 240‑hp 2.0 litre powered LR2 and Range Rover Evoque: the 2014 model year LR4 now powered by3.0‑liter V6 supercharged engine that replaced the 5.0‑liter naturally aspirated V8; the All New Range Rover Sport and Range Rover. For MY14 both the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport come equipped with a choice of supercharged 340‑hp 3.0 litre V6 or 510‑hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8. powertrains.
