MISSISSAUGA, ON, August 2, 2013‑Jaguar Land Rover Canada today reported the best July sales ever. Combined sales for the company totaled 466 units, a 35 percent increase from the comparable 2012 period.
Jaguar sales totaled 124 units, for a sales increase of 12
5 percent compared with the same period in 2012. Land Rover sales totaled 342 units for a year‑over‑year increase of 18 percent, owing its success to strong sales of the Land Rover LR2 and the Range Rover Evoque models.
"The excitement of the new Jaguar F‑Type Convertible has created considerable interest in our Jaguar Land Rover showrooms from coast to coast. With the All‑New Range Rover Sport available later this month, we expect this momentum to only accelerate", said Lindsay Duffield, President, Jaguar Land Rover Canada.

For the month of July, the Jaguar XJ led sales growth with a year‑over‑year increase of 86 percent. Jaguar XF sales increased 12 percent. Both XJ and XF Sedan sales continue to increase on the appeal of new powertrains and Jaguar's "instinctive" all‑wheel drive. The interest created by the F‑Type also spurred a 20 percent increase in XK sales.

Jaguar's 2013 Model Year line‑up features four models:
The Jaguar XJ luxury sedan, powered by either the supercharged 3.0 litre V6 in All‑Wheel Drive, the 470‑hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8 or the 510‑hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8;
The Jaguar XF sports sedan with a supercharged 340‑hp 3.0 litre V6 in All‑Wheel Drive, or the XFR, with the 510‑hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8 powertrain;
The Jaguar XK coupe and convertible sports cars, powered by either the naturally‑aspirated 385‑hp V8, or for the XKR, the 510‑hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8 powertrain. Jaguar also offers its highest performance models ever, the 2013 Jaguar XKR‑S coupe and convertible with a 550‑hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8 powertrain.
The Jaguar F‑TYPE, an all‑new two‑seat Jaguar soft‑top convertible sports car, arrived in showrooms in May. This new front‑engine, lightweight aluminum architecture with rear‑wheel drive, is engineered to be a true high‑performance sports car. Three models are available ‑ F‑TYPE, F‑TYPE S and the F‑TYPE V8 S, powered respectively by the new Jaguar supercharged 3‑litre V6 engine in 340hp and 380hp outputs and a 495hp 5‑litre supercharged V8.
Land Rover
The month of July 2013, was the best July ever for the brand with a year‑over‑year increase of 18 percent. Land Rover LR2 sales increased 322% compared with the same period in 2012 and Range Rover Evoque sales increased 54 percent year‑over‑year.
Land Rover's 2013 model year line‑up features five models: The 240‑hp 2.0 litre powered LR2 and Range Rover Evoque: the LR4 powered by the 375‑hp 5.0 litre V8; the Range Rover Sport and All New Range Rover.
