MISSISSAUGA, ON, July 2, 2013 ‑ Jaguar Land Rover Canada today reported sales for each brand and both brands combined. Combined sales for the company totaled 546 units, a 33 percent increase from the comparable 2012 period making it the second best month ever.
Jaguar sales totaled 165 units, for a sales increase of 132 percent compared with the same period in 2012; Land Rover sales totaled 381 units for a year‑over‑year increase of 12 percent making it the best June ever for the brand.
"The excitement generated from the launch of the new Jaguar F‑Type convertible late last month generated strong customer interest in all Jaguar and Land Rover models in June," said Lindsay Duffield, President, Jaguar Land Rover Canada. "Over the next few months, this positive momentum should only accelerate with the launch of the all‑new Range Rover Sport, Jaguar XFR‑S, XJR and XKR‑SGT."

Jaguar
For the month of June, the Jaguar XJ led sales growth with a
year‑over‑year increase of 136 percent. Jaguar XF sales
increased 60 percent year‑over‑year. Both XJ and XF sedan sales
continue to increase on the appeal of new powertrains and Jaguar's
"instinctive" all‑wheel drive. Jaguar XK sales increased eight
percent year‑over‑year
The 2013 Jaguar line‑up features:
- Instinctive All‑Wheel Drive™ ‑ Available on both the XF and XJ
- Supercharged 340hp V6 engines in the XF and XJ
- Eight Speed ZF® Automatic Transmissions on all XF and XJ models
- Auto Engine Stop/Start on select XF and XJ models
In its first full month of retail sales, 47 new Jaguar F‑TYPE two seat convertibles were delivered to Canadians from coast‑to‑coast.
Jaguar's 2013 Model Year line‑up features three models: The Jaguar XJ luxury sedan, powered by either the supercharged 3.0 litre V6 in All‑Wheel Drive, the 470‑hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8 or the 510‑hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8; the Jaguar XF sports sedan with a supercharged 340‑hp 3.0 litre V6 in All‑Wheel Drive, or the XFR, the 510‑hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8 powertrain; and the XK coupe and convertible sports cars powered by either the naturally‑aspirated 385‑hp V8, or for the XKR, the 510‑hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8 powertrain. Jaguar also offers its highest performance models ever, the 2013 Jaguar XKR‑S coupe and convertible with a 550‑hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8 powertrain. The Jaguar F‑TYPE, an all‑new two‑seat Jaguar soft‑top convertible sports car arrived in showrooms in May. This new front‑engine, lightweight aluminum architecture with rear‑wheel drive, is engineered to be a true high‑performance sports car. Three models are available ‑ F‑TYPE, F‑TYPE S and the F‑TYPEV8 S, powered respectively by the new Jaguar supercharged 3‑litre V6 engine in 340hp and 380hp outputs and a 495hp 5‑litre supercharged V8.

The month of June 2013, was the best June ever for the brand with
a year‑over‑year increase of 12 percent. Land Rover LR2 sales
increased 167 percent compared with the same period in 2012.
Range Rover Evoque sales increased 85 percent year‑over‑year.
Land Rover's 2013 model year line‑up features five models: The 240‑hp 2.0 litre powered LR2 and Range Rover Evoque; the LR4 powered by the 375‑hp 5.0 litre V8; the Range Rover Sport and Range Rover.
