MISSISSAUGA, ON, May 1, 2013‑Jaguar Land Rover Canada today reported sales for each brand and both brands combined. Combined sales for the company totaled 408 units, an 8 percent decrease from the comparable 2012 period.. Jaguar Land Rover sales combined year‑to‑date calendar year sales increased 19 percent for a total of 1699 units.
Jaguar sales totaled 75 units, for a sales increase of 15 percent compared with the same period in 2012; Land Rover sales totaled 333 units for a year‑over‑year decrease of 12 percent.
"Jaguar Land Rover Canada had a good month on the back of a record March, given shortage of supply on key model," said Lindsay Duffield, President, Jaguar Land Rover Canada. "Demand remains strong and we expect to see a big uptick in customer interest as we launch the new Jaguar F‑Type convertible in May, with a starting price of $76,900."

Land Rover
The month of April 2013, was the third best April ever for the
brand and the Range Rover sales doubled year‑over‑year.
The all‑new Range Rover, featuring weight‑saving aluminum
architecture, has a starting price of $114,750, ranging up to
$144,000 for the Range Rover Autobiography model. For 2013
model year, the Land Rover LR2 receives significant interior and
exterior design updates, and set record sales with an increase of
225 percent year‑over‑year.
Jaguar
For the month of April, the Jaguar XJ led sales growth with a
year‑over‑year increase of 62 percent. Jaguar XF sales
increased 12 percent year‑over‑year. Both XJ and XF sedan sales
continue to increase on the appeal of new powertrains and Jaguar's
"instinctive" all‑wheel drive.

Jaguar recently debuted two new models, the 550‑hp Jaguar XJR and Jaguar XKR‑S GT, expanding its R performance lineup to six models.
Jaguar's 2013 Model Year line‑up features three models: The Jaguar XJ luxury sedan, powered by either the supercharged 3.0 litre V6 in All‑Wheel Drive, the 470‑hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8 or the 510‑hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8; the Jaguar XF sports sedan with a supercharged 340‑hp 3.0 litre V6 in All‑Wheel Drive, or the XFR, the 510‑hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8 powertrain; and the XK coupe and convertible sports cars powered by either the naturally‑aspirated 385‑hp V8, or for the XKR, the 510‑hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8 powertrain. Jaguar also offers its highest performance models ever, the 2013 Jaguar XKR‑S coupe and convertible with a 550‑hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8 powertrain.
