The Royal Academy of Engineering has today announced the international judging panel for the Queen Elizabeth prize for Engineering as well as a call for entries. Jaguar Land Rover is among a number of British engineering businesses proudly supporting the Prize, which will be awarded biannually starting in 2013.
The prize aims to recognise and celebrate the achievements of modern engineering whilst providing an unparalleled opportunity to demonstrate how engineers and engineering are making a real difference across the world. In doing so, the Queen Elizabeth Prize of Engineering Foundation hope to dispel often outdated perceptions of engineering and excite and inspire a generation of young people.

This is an area in which Britainhas a rich heritage and it is imperative that we continue to nurture engineering skills.
