Representing a multi‑million‑pound investment, the facility is divided into four key zones: VIP Commissioning Suite, Manufacturing Facility, Paint Facility and an F1‑style Technical Suite.

Commissioning & Presentation Suites
Accessed by invitation only, this luxuriously appointed and innovative area has been designed to let customers explore the full range of vehicle personalisation and paint options. Whether it’s a decision to be made over the colour of the exterior paint (there are 288 physical colour samples on display), or the seat leather, headlining, stitching, veneers, seatbelts, brake calipers or wheel finishes, the number of personalisation options is almost limitless. Add to this the latest scanning and visualization technology, where customers can build up the components of their chosen car to find the perfect combination.

World‑class Paint
Accommodating approximately 12,000‑square metres – more than half the entire complex – the SVO Paint Facility is kitted out with the very latest in body paint technology, including four state‑of‑the‑art spraying robots tasked with fulfilling all SVO Premium Palette and bespoke paint orders. As one of the world’s most advanced and environmentally efficient paint shops, it offers industry‑leading standards of quality, precision and choice. Myriad paint finishes including High Gloss Metallic, ChromaFlair and Satin, join DuoTone in providing customers with even greater levels of individuality. SVO also provides a bespoke colour‑matching service so customers can colour match from more than 15,000 base body colours.
Manufacturing Facility
This zone is home to the final stage of the approval process where the cars are hand‑finished and undergo some of the world’s toughest quality checks. At its heart is a number of inspection bays where the cars come under the closest scrutiny to ensure every single part is finished to a flawless condition. Each bay is fitted with the very latest lighting technology that is designed to reflect against the paint surface to highlight even the smallest imperfection. This process is the final step to ensuring that every product carrying the Special Vehicle Operations badge is perfect in every respect, which is crucial to building a globally recognised brand of excellence.

Technical Suite
Inspired by the engineering facilities of Formula One racing teams, this innovative workspace has been created to enable the technicians to hand‑finish bespoke commissions. From small, intricate projects that may involve fitting heraldic crests, to large‑scale ‘rebuilds’ where the team fit a completely bespoke interior that’s specific to a customer’s personal requirements.
