- Range Rover Evoque sales up 46 per cent year‑over‑year

(MISSISSAUGA, ON) ‑ July 3, 2015 ‑ Jaguar Land Rover Canada today reported June 2015 sales totaled 803 units, for an 18 per cent year‑over‑year increase and the best June ever.
"Jaguar Land Rover's world‑class products are creating excitement amongst luxury consumers. Land Rover LR4, Range Rover Evoque and Jaguar F‑TYPE had very strong sales, which resulted in our best ever June," said Lindsay Duffield, President, Jaguar Land Rover Canada.

This month was the best June ever for Land Rover sales with a total of 664 units and a 28 per cent increase compared with the same period last year. Sales leaders for the month were the Land Rover LR4 with an increase of 135 per cent over last year, followed by the Range Rover Evoque with a 46 per cent increase.
Land Rover's 2015 model year line‑up features five new models: The 240‑hp turbocharged 2.0 litre Land Rover Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque; the LR4, powered by a 340‑hp supercharged 3.0 litre V6 engine; the Range Rover Sport and Range Rover, available with either a 340‑hp supercharged 3.0 liter V6 or 510‑hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8 powertrain and the 550‑hp Range Rover Sport SVR.
For 2016 model year, Land Rover adds the Range Rover Sport HST. This limited edition vehicle enhances the high performance Range Rover Sport driving experience thanks to its upgraded 380‑hp 3.0 litre supercharged V6 engine, unique chassis settings and bespoke design features. It is differentiated by its unique exterior design and interior enhancements, which give the vehicle a distinctive and dynamic appearance.
Also new for 2016 model year is the Range Rover SVAutobiography. Powered by a 550‑hp version of the company's supercharged V8 powertrain, and created by Jaguar Land Rover's Special Vehicle Operations unit, the Range Rover SVAutobiography epitomizes sophisticated design with our most luxurious specification yet. It has been crafted with precision and care, culminating in exquisite attention to detail. No more than 30 units will be made available for sale in Canada later this year, making this an extremely exclusive offering.

For the month of June, Jaguar experienced its second best sales month of the year with 139 units sold. The Jaguar F‑TYPE posted its second best sales month ever, with 73 sales and a five per cent increase year over year.
The 2015 model year Jaguar line‑up features four models: The Jaguar XJ luxury sedan, powered by a 340‑hp supercharged 3.0 litre V6 in all‑wheel‑drive, a 470‑hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8 or a 550‑hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8 in the XJR model. The Jaguar XF sports sedan powered by a 240‑hp turbocharged four cylinder engine, a 340‑hp supercharged 3.0 litre V6 in all‑wheel‑drive, a 510‑hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8 in the XFR, and a 550‑hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8 in the XFR‑S.
The XKR coupe and convertible are powered by a 510‑hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8 and also offered is the Jaguar XKR‑S coupe and convertible with a 550‑hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8. The F‑TYPE Coupe is powered by a 340‑hp supercharged 3.0 litre V6, a 380‑hp supercharged 3.0 litre V6, or a 550‑hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8 in the F‑TYPE R Coupe. The F‑TYPE convertible is available with three engine variants: a 340‑hp supercharged 3.0 litre V6, a 380‑hp supercharged 3.0 litre V6 in the F‑TYPE S convertible, and new for the 16MY convertible model, a 550‑hp supercharged 5.0 litre V8 in the F‑TYPE V8 R. With the 16 MY Jaguar F‑TYPE, Instinctive All Wheel Drive and manual transmission options are also available.
Earlier this year, Jaguar Land Rover introduced the second generation, new‑from‑the‑ground‑up 2016 model year Jaguar XF sedan. Based on Jaguar's new aluminum‑intensive architecture, the new XF will arrive in Canada in December 2015. In 2016, the Jaguar lineup will expand with the addition of the Jaguar XE compact sports sedan and the F‑Pace Performance Crossover.
