CHIEF TRANSFORMATION OFFICER
Frank Ludwig was appointed Jaguar Land Rover’s Chief Transformation Officer in January 2021, and is responsible for the overall Transformation Programme, ensuring connected delivery across a complex landscape, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
Frank has over 20 years’ experience in the automotive sector, holding a variety of senior transformation and strategic positions at a range of high-profile global OEMs.
Frank began his career within Corporate Strategy and Planning at Porsche AG in Stuttgart, before moving to BMW Group where he has held various positions based in both Oxford and Munich, as well as a senior role at BMW’s Leipzig plant.
Before joining Jaguar Land Rover in 2019 as Director of Corporate Strategy, Business Development and Transformation, Frank served as Director of Manufacturing at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars where he was a Member of the Board of Directors.
Born in Bad Pyrmont, Germany, Frank is fully bilingual and holds dual British/German citizenship. He studied at the University of Hannover gaining a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, and holds an MSc in Management from Bath University.
Frank is married to his British wife with two grown-up children. His interests outside of work include cycling, wind surfing, swimming, and cross-country skiing.
